Semarang, awards.undip.ac.id – Undip has been ranked Two Stars of QS Stars World Class University Ranking at year 2012 as released in QS site (http://www.topuniversities.com/qsstars/indonesia). In the site, Undip was categorized Two Stars compared to other universities in the world in 2010 – 2012. QS Stars is the innovative new ratings system for academic institutions from QS. QS Stars was designed in response to institution’s needs requesting an evaluation that assesses all their strengths, using more comprehensive indicators in addition to those used in the rankings. UNDIP is one of the most popular state universities in Indonesia, with an international reputation for its teaching and research.
Diponegoro Undip is located in Semarang, the capital city, of Central Java Province. The university comprises of 5 campuses located in the municipality of Semarang and the District of Jepara, about 70 Km northeast of Semarang. Pleburan campus is the oldest campus among the campuses. Currently, Diponegoro University activities has been centralized at Tembalang Campus, a new campus location, while some postgraduate programs was hosted in Pleburan Campus.
